Do you believe your dog could train himself to do whatever it is you are asking of him? Our dogs are constantly looking at us and our reactions and responses, and then adjusting their behavior to get what they want. I can teach you how to understand and communicate to your dogs in a way that makes sense to them. There is no need to resort to using physical corrections, choke or pinch collars and especially shock collars (sometimes called remote collars). There is no need to “alpha rollover” or humiliate a dog to earn their respect. Our beloved dogs learn through trial and error; remember they don’t speak English (or Spanish, French, etc.). Whether it’s potty training, basic manners and obedience, or severe behavior problems like aggression, it’s our job to help teach them what it is we want from them. With a little bit of patience and the knowledge of how to communicate with your dog in the right way they will literally train themselves.
