Skill Building/Canine Good Citizen Prep Class

This class is more comprehensive than our basic obedience class and helps prepare you and your dog for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen test.

This class will allow you to practice all the skills you have learned in the basic class and some new tasks. We will be able to help you fine tune and make the subtle yet important adjustments in your technique and communication to get you and your dog to a whole new level. We will be utilizing the AKC Canine Good Citizen test exercises to help prepare those of you that may be interested and capable of becoming CGC certified. If that is of interest to you, please click here for more information.

Requirements:
Your dog must have a basic understanding of the basic tasks such as; sit, down, and loose leash walking. They do not need to have these tasks perfected, just an understanding of what the words mean and a relatively good response when you ask. We cannot accept aggressive or over-reactive dogs in this class.

Class duration is one hour for eight consecutive weeks (excluding holidays)
Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
Class fee is $165.
