This class is designed to prepare you and your dog for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen test.
This class will allow you to improve on the basic skills your dog already knows by utilizing the ten individual exercises in the CGC (Canine Good Citizen) test. We will be able to help you fine tune and make the subtle yet important adjustments in your technique and communication to get you and your dog to a whole new level. We will administer the certification test on graduation day and will be able to certify any handler and team that pass. Requirements:
Your dog must know how to sit, down, stay and walk on a loose leash. This is not a class for learning basic obedience. If your dog needs to learn the basics or needs some work perfecting them try our Basic Manners/Obedience Class or our Intermediate Class.
We cannot accept aggressive or over-reactive dogs in this class.
Class duration is one hour for five consecutive weeks (excluding holidays)
